Cameron Carter

Cameron Carter is committed to helping people, and dedicates his practice to personal injury litigation. He firmly believes that an injured person’s Constitutional right to a jury trial is the best way to hold wrongdoers accountable for their actions, and one of the most effective ways to keep our families and communities safe.

Cameron began his career as a trial lawyer working with juries as a criminal prosecutor. After a successful career as a prosecutor, Cameron moved from public service to private practice, litigating complex product liability lawsuits in Washington and Oregon for a regional law firm, representing working people injured through the negligence of product makers and sellers.

Following a three week jury trial in 2009, Cameron and his partner achieved the largest jury verdict to date in an asbestos poisoning lawsuit in Washington State. Today, Cameron uses his proven jury trial experience to help all those who have been injured through the negligence of others.

Cameron is a native of Orcas Island, Washington, and a graduate of the University of Washington and the University of Montana School of Law. Prior to becoming a lawyer, Cameron worked in residential construction and as a kayak expedition guide and divemaster for a dive charter company. Outside of the office, Cameron’s two young children and wife have his attention at home. Cameron and his family enjoy the great music, food, and outdoor adventures that Portland and the greater Pacific Northwest offer, from the tops of our local volcanoes to the rocky bottoms of Puget Sound and all points in between.
